These are the feathers of a pink and grey galah. Galah's are one of Australia's most abundant species of bird. I have always loved seeing their splashes of pink among the green foliage of the gum trees. To me, that is the ultimate landscape of Austalia. The word "Galah" is derived from a Yuwaalaraay word from northern NSW, "Gilaa."
This is a print of an original watercolour painting, colour printed onto 300gsm paper. Each print will be signed and numbered, then packaged using recyclable and compostable materials.
