The seven spotted ladybird is the most common ladybird found in Europe. They're a bit bigger than the ones we find in our gardens in WA, and their elytra are scarlet red with the distinctive seven black spots dotted across both sides. When I was little I'd find these in our garden in England and they almost always did a little wee on my hand! This painting is part of my bugs and butterflies collection, which are a series of small prints available only in A5, designed to fit nicely when displayed together.
This is an original watercolour painting, colour printed onto 300gsm paper. Each print will be signed and numbered, then packaged using recyclable and compostable materials.
