Rainbow Bee Eaters

$12.50 - $35.00 Sold Out

Like these three, the rainbow bee eater spends most of it's day perching, on the lookout for it's next snack. Once the poor insect flies along the swift and agile bee eater will launch it's attack, sometimes dancing through the air with sharp twists and swoops.
In Aboriginal dreaming, the birranga acquired it's colourful plumage when a rainbow shattered and it's shards fell to the Earth.

This is an original watercolour painting, colour printed onto 300gsm paper in. Each print will be signed and numbered, then packaged using recyclable and compostable materials.
