Western Spinebill on Hardenbergia

$75.00 - $95.00

This is a male Western Spinebill on Hardenbergia. Western Spinebills are the smallest of Australia's south-western honey eaters, which means they are able to perch on leaves or at the tip of flowers while they feed on the nectar. These birds are common but elusive. You may be able to invite them to your garden by planting natives like banskia, kangaroo paw and bottle brush, and in return, they'll help to pollinate.
